I hand paint silk and sew one-of-a-kind garments in my studio in downtown historic Plattsburg, Missouri. I create clothing that captivates. Wouldn't you like to have something in your closet- that flashes bright color, and sways with the lightness of silk?

My work often reflects an Asian influence.  When I dye my silk, I use Japanese  Shibori, a type of stitching, folding, and twisting before the dying process that which creates beautiful patterns. I also paint on silk using French dyes that are then steam set.
